Bridge the gap, not replace care.

Bridge was created to make calm, practical guidance more accessible during everyday support moments. It is not a replacement for qualified professional care.

Service: Bridge

Company: Invent Yourself, LLC

Our Role

We wish every family, caregiver, educator, and support team had immediate access to qualified professional guidance. The reality is that many people face challenging moments without enough support, long waitlists, or clear next steps.

Bridge was created to help fill that gap with calm, practical, AI-powered guidance. It is not a perfect solution, and it can make mistakes. Bridge does not diagnose, replace a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (“BCBA”) or other qualified professional, provide emergency support, or create a provider-client relationship.

Our goal is to make supportive guidance more accessible while encouraging families and teams to seek professional care when it is available or needed.

1. Supportive Guidance Only

Bridge provides generalized educational support, caregiver guidance, behavioral reflection tools, and practical next-step suggestions. Bridge may help users think through behavior patterns, communication needs, routines, skill-building ideas, and possible support strategies.

Bridge is designed to support reflection and learning. It is not designed to replace individualized assessment, professional judgment, clinical care, medical care, educational decision-making, or direct services from qualified professionals.

2. Not a Professional, Clinical, Medical, or Emergency Service

Bridge is not a licensed professional, BCBA, physician, psychologist, therapist, counselor, educator, case manager, school official, emergency responder, or crisis-support provider.

Bridge does not provide:

  • Diagnosis;
  • Medical advice;
  • Mental health treatment;
  • Behavioral treatment planning;
  • Clinical documentation;
  • Client records;
  • Educational placement decisions;
  • Legal advice;
  • Crisis intervention;
  • Emergency support;
  • A substitute for a BCBA, physician, therapist, school team, or other qualified professional.

3. No Provider-Client Relationship

Using Bridge does not create a provider-client, clinician-patient, therapist-client, BCBA-client, educator-student, consultant-client, or other professional relationship between you and Bridge, Invent Yourself, LLC, or any person associated with Bridge.

Bridge responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for general educational support only. They should not be treated as professional instructions, clinical recommendations, treatment plans, school recommendations, legal advice, or individualized care.

4. AI Limitations

Bridge uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, unclear, or inappropriate for a specific person or situation.

Bridge may misunderstand user input, miss important details, suggest strategies that are not appropriate for the situation, or fail to identify risk. Users are responsible for reviewing Bridge responses carefully and using their own judgment.

You should not rely on Bridge as the sole basis for decisions involving safety, diagnosis, treatment, education placement, discipline, behavior planning, medical care, legal obligations, crisis response, or mandated reporting.

5. When to Seek Professional Support

Bridge is meant to encourage thoughtful next steps, not delay needed professional care. Users should seek qualified professional support when a situation is complex, recurring, escalating, unsafe, medically related, legally sensitive, or beyond general caregiver guidance.

Consider contacting a qualified professional, school team, physician, therapist, BCBA, case manager, supervisor, or other appropriate support when:

  • There is risk of injury or harm to the person or others;
  • A behavior is severe, increasing, or difficult to manage safely;
  • There are concerns involving self-injury, aggression, elopement, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or unsafe environments;
  • There are medical, medication, sleep, feeding, toileting, seizure, pain, or health-related concerns;
  • A child, student, client, or family needs individualized assessment or support planning;
  • A school, workplace, agency, or care team needs formal documentation or official decisions;
  • You are unsure whether a situation is safe or appropriate to handle without professional support.

6. Emergency and Crisis Situations

Bridge is not an emergency service and should not be used in emergencies. Bridge does not monitor conversations in real time, does not contact emergency services, and does not provide crisis intervention.

If there is an emergency, immediate safety risk, risk of harm to self or others, abuse, neglect, exploitation, medical emergency, mental health crisis, or other urgent concern, contact 911, local emergency services, a crisis line, a protective agency, or the appropriate local authority.

7. Mandated Reporting and Safety Obligations

Bridge does not make reports to child protective services, adult protective services, schools, law enforcement, emergency services, or any other authority.

Users remain responsible for complying with any mandated-reporting, workplace, school, professional, licensing, ethical, or legal obligations that may apply to them. If you suspect abuse, neglect, exploitation, immediate danger, or another reportable concern, do not rely on Bridge. Contact the appropriate emergency service, protective agency, hotline, supervisor, school official, or legal authority as required by law and your professional or organizational responsibilities.

8. No PHI or Identifying Information

Bridge is designed for de-identified, generalized behavioral education. Users should not enter protected health information (“PHI”), personally identifiable information, student-identifying information, client-identifying information, or other sensitive identifying details.

Please do not enter names, birth dates, addresses, school or provider names, medical record numbers, student ID numbers, case numbers, phone numbers, email addresses, full-face images, IEPs, medical records, education records, clinical records, or other information that could identify a specific child, client, patient, student, family member, provider, school, clinic, agency, or household.

Use general, de-identified descriptions instead. For example, say “a 7-year-old has difficulty when screen time ends” rather than using a child’s name, school, provider, date of birth, or record details.

9. Not a HIPAA or FERPA-Supported Workflow

Bridge is not currently offered as a HIPAA-supported product or service. We do not currently execute Business Associate Agreements for Bridge. Users must not use Bridge to create, receive, maintain, transmit, or process PHI.

Bridge is also not intended to create, receive, maintain, transmit, or process education records, student records, school records, IEPs, evaluations, disciplinary records, service records, or other information protected by FERPA or similar student-privacy laws.

Healthcare providers, clinics, schools, agencies, covered entities, business associates, educators, contractors, and organization users are responsible for determining whether their use of Bridge is permitted under their own legal, professional, contractual, privacy, and organizational obligations.

10. Organization, School, and Team Use

Some users may access Bridge through an organization, school, agency, employer, pilot program, subscription group, or access code. Organization access does not change Bridge’s role or limitations.

Bridge should not be used as an official clinical record, school record, treatment plan, behavior plan, IEP document, medical record, supervision record, incident report, or substitute for professional review.

Organizations are responsible for ensuring that their users understand Bridge’s limitations and do not submit PHI, student-identifying information, client-identifying information, or other sensitive identifying details.

11. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for how they use Bridge and for any decisions they make based on Bridge responses. Bridge outputs should be reviewed, adapted, and verified before use.

Users should consider the needs, safety, communication, medical history, environment, professional recommendations, family context, school context, and support plan of the person they are helping. Bridge may not have enough information to understand the full situation.

12. Relationship to Terms and Privacy Policy

This Support Disclaimer is part of Bridge’s broader legal and safety framework. Your use of Bridge is also governed by our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If there is any conflict between this Support Disclaimer and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
